Computer labs
School Computer Lab Setup in the Jahu & Hamirpur Region
A school computer lab needs reliable computers, but it also needs a properly planned network and physical setup.
Secure SS Tech provides computer lab installation and networking for schools and educational institutions around Jahu and nearby areas.
Computer lab planning
Before installation, important factors include:
- Number of computers
- Room size
- Desk/workstation layout
- Internet connectivity
- Network cabling
- Number of network points
- Switch capacity
- Router position
- Future expansion
Planning these elements together can reduce avoidable network problems later.
LAN & network setup
Computer labs often require wired network connections for reliable connectivity. Network infrastructure may include Ethernet cabling, network switches, a router, internet connection, a network rack where appropriate, cable organisation, and Wi-Fi where needed. Details also sit on the networking page.
Workstation setup
Depending on project requirements, services can include setup and connection of computer workstations to the lab network.
CCTV for schools
Schools creating or upgrading a computer lab may also require CCTV and general campus security. Secure SS Tech can coordinate computer lab network, school networking, CCTV installation and structured cabling. This can simplify infrastructure planning across the property.

FAQ
Common questions.
Do you only work in Hamirpur town?
No. The shop is in Jahu. We take school lab work across the Hamirpur region and nearby campuses when the site is practical to support.
Can you add CCTV in the same lab?
Yes, if the school wants cameras as part of the same infrastructure plan. Campus-wide cameras are scoped on the school CCTV page.
