Campus CCTV
CCTV Installation for Schools & Colleges in Himachal Pradesh
Educational institutions often need a more organised CCTV setup than a small residential property.
Secure SS Tech provides CCTV installation and related network infrastructure for schools, colleges and educational premises in the Jahu region and surrounding areas.
CCTV coverage for educational campuses
Depending on the campus, cameras may be considered for:
- Main entrance
- Campus gates
- Corridors
- Parking
- Common areas
- Building entrances
- Outdoor movement areas
- Administrative sections
Camera placement should be planned responsibly with privacy and appropriate-use considerations.
Central recording
Multi-camera installations may require central DVR/NVR recording. Storage planning should consider the number of cameras, camera resolution, required recording duration, hard disk capacity and recording settings.
Networking for CCTV
IP CCTV systems may require Ethernet cabling, network switches, a network rack, a router, structured cabling and appropriate network planning. Secure SS Tech can provide CCTV and networking as part of the same project where required.
Computer labs & school IT infrastructure
Schools upgrading CCTV may also require improvements to their computer lab or network. Related services include school computer lab setup, LAN installation, network cabling, Wi-Fi network setup and network switches. View computer lab setup.

FAQ
Common questions.
Where should school cameras not go?
Avoid toilets and other private spaces. We follow the institution’s written brief for classrooms and staff areas.
Can school CCTV and the computer lab be one project?
Often. Many campuses ask us to plan cameras and the computer lab network together so cabling is not done twice.
